Well I really focussed for a period of three months and found that practicing every day soon got me up to speed-so to speak. I also have a good friend who speed reads(quite amazingly!) who encouraged and supported me and alos tested me for comprehension. I'm an avid reader anyway. So I guess I read for at least 30 minutes every day as part of what I like to do naturally so it was easy for me to incorporate speed reading practice into my daily life.
