Joining the other hypnosisdownloads.com sessions for pain relief is our latest offering – for myofascial pain. Sometimes linked to fibromyalgia, myofascial pain usually occurs in a more limited area of the body, for example, only around the shoulder and neck, or only on one side of the body.
Switching off pain signals
Myofascial pain syndrome, or MPS, is experienced as chronic intermittent pain set off in certain ‘trigger points’ around the body. I worked with a man last year who had suffered from myofascial pain for three years. After a few sessions he could effectively ‘switch off’ the pain whenever it occurred. Of course, if any you are in pain you need a diagnosis from a medical professional before you take any further action.
There is no definitive clear-cut cause for MPS, but it’s thought that stress, inactivity or persistent over-activity can all play a part. The pain can be excruciating. We know that relaxation is great at bringing comfort to painful areas, and coupled with the hypnotic suggestions in this myofascial pain relief session I’m hoping it will make a big difference to sufferers.
