Full hypnosis download Improving concentration and focus
You may have the most brilliant mind in the universe, but if you focus on nothing but inanity and ‘mind junk’ it won’t get you anywhere. Or you might have average talent, but if you really start to focus down on learning what you want to learn and achieving what you want to achieve then your ‘averageness’ becomes something extraordinary.
When we developed Improving concentration and focus for hypnosisdonwloads.com we knew it was good, but we had no idea just how useful people would find it. It’s become one of our most popular sessions. But when you think about it, having a powerful ability to concentrate and focus attention where it’s wanted is actually what has made any great person able to do great things.
Concentration and focus separate the champions from the ‘also rans’
Top performers in any field have an amazing ability to concentrate. I once worked with an Olympic skier whose capacity to hypnotically ‘ski’ while a hundred distractions were occurring all around her (but filtered out by her) was awe inspiring. Even thinking about skiing caused her hands to feel colder – she was so focused that her body responded as if she were skiing in sub zero conditions. Her level of peak concentration we call a state of ‘flow’ or being ‘in the zone’.
Focus and concentration separate the good from the great
A sports psychologist who once attended our hypnosis workshop described some research he had carried out on some of the top-performing racing car drivers in the world. The one factor that separated the very top champions in the world from, say, the regional or even national champions was their ability to drown out distractions and concentrate fully on the puzzle the psychologist had set them (while trying to distract them with noise). PET scans of their brainwave activity showed that they did hear the distractions, but their brains just responded to them much less. This is like what happens when you’re watching a favourite movie and someone calls your name – you hear them but you don’t hear them, and you don’t respond.
The modern world seems set on distracting us, bombarded as we are with text, email, voice-mail, ‘alerts’, advertising, 24 hour news, etc, etc. A clear mind is now at a rare premium. Those who can organise their minds to filter our ‘mental spam’ and concentrate and focus their way to success are the ones will truly inherit the earth.
